Rev. Chad Eckels

The Reverend Chad M. Eckels was installed as Associate Pastor of St. Paul’s on March 16th of 2003 and accepted a call to serve as Senior Pastor on November 20, 2011.

Pastor Eckels had previously served as pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oberlin, Kansas were he was ordained in 1998. He graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 1994 and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 1998.

Pastor Eckels is married to Patty, also a 1994 graduate of Concordia Seward. They have three sons: Jonah, Joshua, and Jacob. Click here to email Pastor Eckels.

Rev. Dr. Michael Paul

The Reverend Doctor Michael Paul was installed on February 27, 2011 to serve as Associate Pastor of Missions, with focus on outreach to the Chinese community in Evansville. Pastor Paul has served as a missionary, church planter and seminary professor at LCMS sites in Asia.

He attended Concordia, Seward for 3 years, transferred to Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (where he graduated with a BA in Linguistics), and earned MDiv and PhD from Concordia Seminary, St Louis.

Timothy Horst

Timothy L. Horst is St. Paul’s first full-time director of music.

Tim hold’s two bachelor’s degrees from Concordia Univ. in Seward, Neb., in the areas of business and sacred music. Tim previously served as organist for Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island, Neb.

Zona Morgan

Zona Morgan grew up in Evansville, IN. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1973 and Deaconess Hospital/USI in 1976 with an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.

She has been a member of St. Paul’s since 1980. Zona and her husband Dennis have 3 children: Adam, Luke, and Ellen. Click here to email Zona.
